The Ghost Choir is a band composed of five active Icelandic music veterans with diverse backgrounds and professional experience that covers a wide range of musical styles from underground hip-hop, modern jazz and funk, to rock and pop music. Members include Hálfdán Árnason (Himbrimi, Legend, Horrible Youth) on Bass, Magnús Trygvason Eliassen (ADHD, Amiina, Moses Hightower) on drums, Pétur Hallgrímsson (John Grant, Lhooq) on guitar, and Hannes Helgason (Samúel Jón Samúelsson Big Band) on Keyboards and Jóhannes Birgir Pálmason (Epic Rain, Hvörf) on keyboards and electronics.

The music can be described as a mix of "Cinematic Groove," Jazz and Krautrock, blended together in an interesting way through the creativity of the diverse backgrounds of the band members.
